Julia of the Ottoman Traders Guild makes a gift of these photos to all women coping with hair loss. My eternal thanks to her.
- Some suggestions while using these instruction pages:
- Each page has step by step instructions with a thumbnail photo. Click on any photo for a larger version.
- All of these turban head wraps start with a long rectangle. My New Stock Rectangle is ideal, but any length of soft cotton at least 12" x 60" will do.
- Choose a fabric that is soft enough to take the twist nicely. Avoid slippery fabrics as they won't stay put well, especially hair loss.
- Experiment to see what works well for you.
Try wrapping the twists tighter or looser.
Tuck the ends in just a little, or a whole lot.
- Once you find Try leaving one end loose for a Bedouin look.
Wrap a ribbon around the twist ends.
Fasten a broach on the turban.
Go wild.
- Send me a photo of your version of the head wrap to share with other women how much they can do with their own head wraps.
Email me if you would like
a printed copy of this catalog. It is nothing more than an abbreviated copy of
what you see here, but I am glad to send it to you if really want one.
